Jim Cleary is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for AmerisourceBergen where he manages the organization’s financial strategy and oversees the company’s financial functions including accounting, corporate finance, investor relations, tax, treasury and audit. Mr. Cleary is committed to maximizing long-term shareholder value, ensuring a balanced portfolio of growth initiatives and maintaining a high level of integrity and transparency.
 
Mr. Cleary was named Chief Financial Officer in 2018 after serving as Group President of Global Commercialization Services and Animal Health. In that role, he led the company’s pharmaceutical commercialization solutions for manufacturers including AmerisourceBergen’s international businesses and the animal health portfolio of solutions.
 
Prior to that, he served as Chief Executive Officer of MWI Veterinary Supply Inc. from 2005 until the company’s acquisition by AmerisourceBergen in February 2015 and President from 2000 to 2005.
 
Mr. Cleary graduated from Dartmouth College with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and received his Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
