Mark Pilkington is Vice President of Managed Care for AmerisourceBergen, where he oversees AmerisourceBergen’s Pharmacy Benefit Administrator programs.  His role includes identifying new markets for existing AmerisourceBergen solutions with a special emphasis on hospice management.  Mark brings more than 30 years of experience to his current role.  He serves as a source of expertise in pharmacy reimbursement systems and implementation of innovative community pharmacy services.

Prior to joining AmerisourceBergen, he led an innovative hospice pharmacy services manager that brought high quality pharmacies to hospice agencies.  In this role, he was responsible for business strategy, sales growth, and financial results.  Earlier in his career, he served as a managed care subject matter expert for a Fortune 20 health care company.

Mark received a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Pharmacy and a Master of Science in Pharmacy Administration for the University of Illinois at Chicago, Graduate College.
