Phyllis Houston, MSOL, is Vice President, Program Development and Market Intelligence for AmerisourceBergen, where she oversees the development of AmerisourceBergen's pharmacy quality performance strategies. She works with Programs Leadership Teams to develop strategies that drive community pharmacies to transform their business practices, helping them improve performance and offer new solutions. Her role also includes providing education and leading key partnerships to develop and deploy solutions that support community pharmacies with star ratings and quality outcomes measures. Ms. Houston brings more than 25 years of industry experience to her current role. She serves as a source of expertise and an educator on healthcare legislation and regulations, staying informed on industry changes through membership in Pharmacy Quality Alliance and NCPDP.

Prior to joining AmerisourceBergen, Ms. Houston led oversight and management for multiple central fill, mail order, specialty pharmacy and call center solutions, including strategic growth and build-out of new facilities and solutions.


Ms. Houston received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from University of Nevada-Reno and her Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from National University.
