Shanna Barnes, MHA is Vice President, Field Outsourcing and is responsible for business development and operations for Xcenda's Field Support teams. In this role, Ms. Barnes works with Field Support leadership on operational issues and enhancements, supports new team launches including recruiting and responds to proposals for field outsourcing and provider education services. She enjoys working collaboratively with physicians' practices, hospital administration, pharmacy administration, charge master teams, as well as coding and compliance professionals.

In addition to extensive reimbursement expertise, Ms. Barnes has experience with various types of audits including OIG, CERT, PERM, and Recovery Audit Contractors. She is an active member of the North Carolina Chapter of Healthcare Financial Management and is also a guest speaker for a number of professional organizations, sharing her expertise on billing regulations, electronic claims processes and Medicare compliance, and payer relations/contracting.

Ms. Barnes holds a Master of Health Administration from Pfeiffer University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
